Milan Fashion Week

Hola amigooooos!!

This week I bring you all the Fashion Week adventures from Milan! The only fashion week that I was missing and that after discovering I will never miss again! I teamed up with my friend Isaybela, a famous blogger from Colombia and we attended the shows together 🙂
I love italy, the pizza, the pasta, the wine, the people, there is a contagious positive energy in the air and that reflects in the fashion and their parties!
La Dolce Vita: Fashion Week begins!

Direct flights to Milan to Malpensa or Linate airport.
I flew with Vueling it’s 1.30h to Malpensa airport.
From the airport I advise you two options to get to the city, 1 is to take the Malpensa express train which takes about 30 minutes to get to the city center, and another option is to use Uber driver which is obviously more comfortable but might take a bit longer to arrive to the city due to traffic.

Located at the heart of the fashion district this urban paradise is the best place you can stay in Milan. The super luxury service representative of the Four Seasons brand will make you feel at home at all times.
I can recommend you La Veranda restaurant inside the hotel, with a beautiful terrace, one of the top 5 restaurants in Milan where I enjoyed the real Milanese veal amongst many other delicious dishes such as the risotto with parmesan and the Zucchini in flower stuffed with ricotta cheese ! Top Top! In such hectic days that are the Fashion Week where we spend all day running up and down the shows, in the hotel there is a way to find peace. That is at the Four Seasons Milan Spa, all decorated by the world famous Spanish designer Patricia Urquiola. I can assure you one thing, the massage you get at the Four Seasons is something everyone should try. The massage beds are heated so you are warm at all times plus you can choose the oil scent and music that best suits your mood at the moment! Ask for Jasmine she’s the most fabulous masseuse !
And alsooo very important amigos, keep your eyes open when you are here, for fashion week the Four Seasons Milan is one of the hotspots in the city, you can easily bump into Anna Wintour or Karl Lagerfeld!

GENNY: I had the pleasure to begin the Fashion Week Milan experience by the hands of the amazing brand Genny, sustainable quality made in Italy, feminine and elegant style. I got the chance to be their image and wear one of the dresses to the show. Keep an eye on them they have a wonderful collection @gennyofficial !

MOSCHINO: Probably one of my favourite brands right now, the show was another level of colours, fashion, flowers.. Their new collection of the Little Pony makes me feel like a child again and that means forever young! Gotta love all things Moschino, from phone cases to their Teddy bear tshirts!
After the show there was the afterparty with Sita Abellan as Dj, everyone super trendy dressed and we got to meet the new it model son of Cindy Crawford, Presley Gerber.

VERSACE: A brand I love since always, the Versace dresses are on my favourite in the world. This year Donatella owned the Fashion Week by bringing back the 90’s supermodels, Carla Bruni, Naomi Campbell, Claudia Schiffer, Cindy Crawford and Helena Christensen. The world wasn’t ready for that ! Bravo Donatella!

AMFAR: Famous for being the ultimate jet set event, the amfAR Gala reunited some of the biggest celebrities on the Fashion Week, we danced all night next to celebrities such Alessandra Ambriosio, Iza Goulart, Karolina Kourkova and Jon Kortajarena. The most fun was a Champagne vending style machine which gave little bottles of Moet Chandon.

MARIE CLAIRE: On their 30 anniversary we attended a party at the shopping district, champagne and all the famous Marie Claire front pages were exposed at the party!

VOGUE: The New Beginning party for Vogue Italia was definitely the place to be in Milan that night. On a strict all black dress code, Ricardo Tisci invented a Heaven and Hell party with church style decorations and real beds on the vip area. Everyone who was everyone was there, including all the Versace Supermodels, Olivia Palermo…

ICEBERG: To close the FW events we attended the Iceberg Party, we kept seeing the same celebrities, models, designer from the parties everyday as they all move from one event to the other, but this time I met the number one model right now in the world who not only is super handsome but is a super fun and nice guy, Lucky Blue Smith.

JIMMY CHOO: In a dream world of mirrored glass floors, Jimmy Choo presented their new collection with the dreamiest heels that we will all want to wear this new season! Keep an eye on their Sunglasses and bags too!

HOGAN: The Hogan shoes are famous for their sneakers with platform. Their new collection is an all platform in metallic colours and rainbow soles. Will buy forshoooo!

ASH: This time the cool Ash shoes did a presentation at the fabulous Corso Como store! Fun afternoon between cocktails and the new Ash x Filip Pagowski

I normally recommend you driver services to move around the cities, but on the Fashion Week in Milan where all the city is collapsed I guarantee you the fastest way to move around is by taking public transport such as metro or the tram ( I love the tram super cute and very fast) The easiest way is that you check on your google maps and put the address where you want to go, that will tell you all the fastest options! In case you are going to use public transport ask for an ‘all day everything’ pass, that you buy at the station, which only costs 4 euros and you can take any kind of transport unlimited times of the day. This was the only way we made it to the shows! Traffic jams are impossible on fashion week!

Soooo all of the shows, the fashion, the parties and us running around the Fashion Week you will see live on the video I will upload new week on my Youtube channel <> and let’s continue to explore the world together!
